1 Peter 5:9 – Resist The Enemy
Minister Yinka reminds us that we have an enemy and encourages us to fight against him by remaining steadfast in the faith and through prayer. Brethren, our enemy is a defeated foe, but for that victory to be manifest in our lives, we must resist him by enforcing what Jesus has already done for us!

1 Cor 11:20-34 – The Lord’s Supper
Pastor David explains the meaning of 1 Cor 11: 20-34 verse by verse. We are shown that Paul addressed how the Corinthian church approached the Lord's supper, seeing it as food rather than a representation of Christ's broken body that should be used to bless the believer's physical body. They were eating unworthily, and we learn the difference between that and being unworthy.

1 Cor 6:17 – How To Enjoy Life
Pastor David reminds us through 1 Cor 6:17 that when we are born again, we become one with God, twisted and bound with him. This oneness is in the Spirit, God's Spirit merges with ours, and we become one. This means we have every quality God has, whether we express it or not. We have everything in our Spirit to secure success and peace for our physical lives. 1 Pet 3:10 tells us that if we want a long and enjoyable life, we must refrain from speaking evil (gossip, slander, lying etc.). This takes more than physical effort, so we must allow what God has deposited inside us to be drawn out. Let us learn how to draw out all the goodness within us to have that wonderful life.

1 Corinthians 15:56 – The Sting of Death is Gone!
On this resurrection Sunday, Pastor David helps us to reflect on 1 Corinthians 15:56, a verse from a larger passage in which the apostle Paul discusses the victory over death that Jesus Christ has achieved for believers through his resurrection. The verse reveals that sin is the root cause of the pain and fear associated with death and that the Mosaic law reveals the power of sin. However, Jesus' death and resurrection have fulfilled the requirements of the law, and those who trust in him can be freed from the power of sin and its sting. Pastor David also reminds us of Jesus' unwavering love and care for us, leaving no stone unturned in his desire to save us.

1 John 3:2 – Sons Of God Arise
Pastor David encourages us to rise up and be the sons of God that we are. All that God has created are stretching their necks in expectation for us to act, to heal the sick, raise the dead and stop the devil in his tracks! We are in the world but not of it so let us manifest what already exists within us, which is the glory of God.

1 Kings 17: 1-5 – Faith In What God Has Written
Pastor David shows us through 1 Kings 17: 1-5, what can be achieved when we put our trust in the Word of God. We are also encouraged to take what the word says about us and release our faith! There was no mention of Elijah previous to 1 Kings 17 but due to his faith in God he became one of the greatest prophets. Elijah knew how to take God's word and make it his word, so much so that he declared it with full confidence that it would come to pass. Brethren, find the word that fits your situation, release your faith and see God's word manifest in your life.
